About the Camp

Alabama Christian Service Camp is nestled in the hills just off the Coosa River. These scenic surroundings provides the backdrop for our Camp and Retreat Center which is located just a short 30 minute drive from Rockford, Alabama.

We set aside days throughout the year to maintain and improve the Camp. Volunteers are more than welcome to help. We will post dates that groups are meeting at the camp once they are decided.

Some camps just put a blanket wish list out there for things they'd like to have without giving any thought as to how they could benefit or improve the camps for the kids.

We at Alabama Christian Service Camp (ACSC) try not to do that. There are some things like white paint to repaint the kitchen that we need on a yearly basis. Other things are based on plans we have to expand what we can provide for the camps each year. We'll be listing these as well. Our foosball table needs a replacement man for the red team. This may be available on EBay for a very low cost. No need for a whole new table, just the man. Our ping pong table, on the other hand, should be replaced. This is not an urgent need, but will entertain the kids during canteen and when rain delays outdoor activities.
